My Reading Bucket List In 2020

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.”

George R.R. Martin

The books , I want to read which i collect them from last 4 years but because of busy schedule of my Engineering and M.Tech studies I didn’t get time to read the book from by bucket list . The list of book , I collected are follow :

  1. 7 habits of Highly effective people by Stephen R. Covey.
  2. The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz.
  3. Last lecture by Jeffrey Zaslow and Randy Pausch.
  4. The 48 laws of Power by Robert Greene.

But In 2020 , because of Covid-19 lockdown , there are lot of time available to invest in our habits which we didn’t get in day to day life busy schedule. In Maharashtra , India , there are lockdown since from 24 march 2020 .India’s government announced lockdown in India till 31 May 2020. Because of Covid-19 panademic lockdown , Indian Television channel re-telecast their 1988’s show Mahabharat and Ramayan which got record break viewers and huge fan following in the 2020.

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.

Dr. Seuss

The books are our best friend , they never leave us in any situation . Sometimes , they perform different role in our life . Books are our teacher , our mentor , our friends . Anytime if you want them with you they are available to you. If we develop reading habit in day-to -day life then after 5 years of reading we are different person . Books develop us tremendously .

Traveling is also one of my bucket list but in 2020 its doesn’t seen easy to travel around state and country. Because of Covid-19 pandemic , The 2020 is worst year for traveler. but the best thing about the books are they let you travel without moving your feet. So the more you read , the more information you get and more knowledgeable you became.

Crush Your Enemy Totally

All great leaders since Moses have known that a feared enemy must be crushed completely. [ Sometimes we have learned this hard way] . If one ember is left alight , no matter how dimly it smolders , a fire will eventually break out. More is lost through stopping halfway than through total annihilation.

The enemy will recover , and will seek revenge. Crush him , not only in body but in spirit. To crush your enemy partially means that they will eventually recover and seek revenge. Ultimately , you can only gain peace and serenity if your enemies cease to exist.

History is replete with examples of leaders who defeated their enemies but left them alive out of mercy. Of course , the opponent always bided his time , becoming ever more resentful and determined ever more resentful and determined , until he was strong enough to seek revenge.

Crush your enemy totally. Don’t go halfway with them or give them any option whatsoever. If you leave even one ember smoldering, it will eventually ignite. You can’t afford to be lenient.

Don’t negotiate – negotiation will undercut your victory. For your security — YOU MUST CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES.

Let Go Of The Past

One of the biggest hindrance to personal growth is holding on to the past.

In order to be happy in the true sense of the term , it is very important to be in the present.

So, you must learn to release the ghosts of the past and clear skeletons from the cupboard.

Once we are able to feel the emotion and then release it , we also release all negative influence it has over us.

The most important part of letting go is approval of peoples. Once you can let go of the need of being approved and liked then you became immune.

Power of Learning and Growing

Now-a-days , New Currency is the Knowledge , Knowledge is powerful in 21 Century.

Travel Is The Healthiest Addiction

Of all the book in the world , the best stories are found between the pages of your passport ….

Broaden your horizons , open your mind and deeper your well of exposure. Understand the idiosyncrasies between cultures and experiences living.

Once a year , Go someplace where you’ve never been before…..

Dalai Lama

Go to the places on the periphery and understand the countries you visit. A resort with a pool and a sandy beach could be anywhere. Go to places and distill their true meaning and gain enlightenment.

Create memories and experience living or your time will expire.

By understanding how different cultures and communities operate our lives are enriched with understanding , compassion and appreciation for people unlike ourselves.

Don’t Compare yourself to others

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.

Oprah Winfrey

Don’t Compare yourself to others . In social media age , it is tempting to beat yourself up if your friends are getting married , having kids and living a life of luxury.

Don’t compare your life to others…… There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon. They shine when it’s their time. —-Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Research suggest that comparing yourself to others are pointless. That’s because , from the outside , people can seem a lot happier and less troubled than they really are.

The death of contentment is comparison to others.

We each live our own lives. By comparing yourself to others , the only thing you are going to do is hurt yourself.

Personality Begins when Comparison leaves off . Be Unique , Be Proud , Be Memorable , Be Confident.
